Return & Refund Policy

At Eco di Barbara, every garment is thoughtfully designed and crafted with care. Many of our pieces are hand-finished using natural dyes and eco-print techniques, making each garment uniquely one of a kind.

We encourage you to review product descriptions, sizing, and care information carefully before placing your order. By placing an order with Eco di Barbara, you agree to the following Return and Refund Policy.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible ready-to-wear (in-stock) items within 7 days of receiving your order. To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
  • Have all original tags attached.
  • Be returned in its original packaging.
  • Be free from perfume, makeup, stains, or any signs of wear.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Items that do not meet these conditions may be returned to the customer without a refund.

Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • All pre-order or made-to-order garments.
  • Custom-made or personalized orders.
  • Altered garments.
  • Gift cards.
  • Sale, discounted, promotional, or clearance items.
  • Items damaged due to improper care or normal wear and tear.

As each pre-order garment is produced specifically for you, all pre-order sales are considered final.

Exchanges

We understand that sizing can sometimes be difficult. We offer size exchanges for eligible in-stock garments, subject to stock availability. Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the exchange is due to an error on our part. If the requested size is unavailable, we may offer store credit. Pre-order and custom-made garments cannot be exchanged unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photographs of the garment.
  • Photographs of the packaging (if applicable).
  • A brief description of the issue.

Once reviewed, Eco di Barbara will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.

Natural variations

Our garments are created using natural dyes, botanical eco-printing, and handcrafted techniques. As a result:

  • Colours may vary slightly from product photographs.
  • Botanical prints are naturally unique.
  • Minor variations in colour, print placement, and texture are not defects but a hallmark of handcrafted craftsmanship.

These natural variations do not qualify for a return or refund.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong item was sent.
  • The item arrived damaged.
  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.

We recommend using a trackable courier service, as Eco di Barbara cannot be responsible for items lost during return transit.

Order cancellations

Ready-to-ship orders

Orders may be cancelled before they have been dispatched. Once dispatched, the order falls under this Return Policy.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, production may have already commenced and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
