Pre-Order Policy

At Eco di Barbara, some of our garments are created exclusively upon order as part of our commitment to slow, mindful fashion.

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve a piece before it is crafted. Each garment is carefully handmade using natural dyeing and eco-print techniques, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship while reducing unnecessary waste and overproduction. Products available for pre-order will be clearly marked on the product page before purchase.

Delivery time

As every pre-order garment is individually crafted, please allow the following from the date of purchase for production and dispatch:

Ready-to-wear garments: 3 to 4 weeks
Sarees: 2 weeks
Ready-to-ship items: typically dispatched within 1 to 3 working days

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation with tracking details where applicable.

Ordering in-stock and pre-order items together

If your order contains both ready-to-ship and pre-order items, your order will normally be shipped together once the pre-order item is ready. If you would prefer your available items to be shipped first, please place separate orders or contact us before placing your order. Additional shipping charges may apply for separate deliveries.

Can my pre-order be delayed?

While we always strive to meet our estimated timelines, our garments are handcrafted and naturally dyed. Occasionally, slight delays may occur due to:

Handcrafted production processes
Drying and curing times for natural dyes
Material availability
Quality control requirements

If there is a significant delay, we will contact you with an update as soon as possible.

Order changes

If you need to change your size, colour, or shipping details, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your order. Once production has begun, we may not be able to accommodate changes.

Cancellations

Pre-orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, production may have already begun and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

Returns and exchanges

As each pre-order garment is made specifically for you, we do not accept returns or refunds due to a change of mind. If your item arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will be happy to assist.
